Bahagian Pelesenan dan Perkhidmatan Perbandaran Majlis Perbandaran Pekan Bandar Diraja (MPP)
Bahagian Pelesenan dan Perkhidmatan Perbandaran di Majlis Perbandaran Pekan Bandar Diraja (MPP) bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan pengurusan perkhidmatan awam dan pelesenan dilaksanakan secara berkesan dan efisien. Berikut adalah fungsi utama bahagian ini:
- Issuance of Business and Vendor Licenses
- Process and approve business license applications, including shops, restaurants, night markets, static hawkers, one-day town hawkers, farmer's markets, and mobile hawkers.
- Regulate and monitor licensed businesses to ensure they comply with the licensing conditions set by the MPP.
- Advertising License Management
- Issuing licenses for the installation of advertisements and signs in the administrative area of the MPP.
- Monitor advertising to ensure that it complies with the rules outlined by the council, including the size, location, and content of advertisements.
- Food Premises License Issuance and Hygiene Control
- Manage licensing for food premises, including restaurants, food stalls, and markets.
- Carry out hygiene inspections and ensure food premises comply with established health and safety standards.
- Supervision of City Cleaning Services
- Coordinate and monitor city cleaning activities, including garbage management, street sweeping, and cleaning of drains and drainage systems.
- Manage the collection of solid waste and ensure it is disposed of in a proper and environmentally friendly manner.
