Dasar e-Penyertaan ini bertujuan untuk memulakan budaya dan amalan e-penyertaan demi meningkatkan ketelusan dan penyertaan awam dalam mempertingkatkan mutu perkhidmatan Majlis Perbandaran Pekan Bandar Diraja (MPP).

MPP sentiasa mengiktiraf penglibatan awam bagi membolehkan Jabatan untuk meneroka perspektif yang lebih luas, sumber maklumat, dan penyelesaian yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan keputusan dan perkhidmatan. Ia juga menyediakan asas bagi hubungan produktif, dialog dan perbincangan yang lebih baik, dan tadbir urus yang teratur.

The objective of e-Participation is to involve the people in the development policy and decision-making process through the use of information and communication technology.

Oleh yang demikian, MPP amat mengalu-alukan penyertaan dengan mematuhi terma dan syarat penyertaan yang telah ditetapkan seperti berikut: 

1. Any touching statement racial sensitivity, religion and politic are prohibited.
2. Defamation, personal attacks & statements are prohibited which may offend other participants.
3. Control your statements, avoid using abusive language and nationalism.
4. It is not recommended to chat or send sentences that run away from the main topic.
5. Topics and links to websites INAPPROPRIATE are PROHIBITED entirely.
6. Make sure your statement/topic does not violate the rules'COPYRIGHT LAW’, ‘TRADEMARK’, ‘PATENT' and more.
7. PROHIBITED use this e-Participation section as a place to run any contests, pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, internet money schemes, chain letters, junk e-mails whether commercially or otherwise.
8. It is not allowed to upload files that contain computer viruses such as "Trojan Horses", "worms", "time bombs", "cancel boots" or any software or programs that can damage the operation of another user's computer.
9. The administrator of the e-Participation room under any circumstances does not verify, endorse, represent or guarantee any truthfulness, accuracy or reliabilityany statement/topic made in this e-Participation column. The individual himself should understand that any risk regarding the reliability of any material in this room is borne by the individual himself.
10. The administrator of the e-Participation column has the right to amend and delete any statement/topic at any time without informing the writer of the statement/topic.
11. The administrator of the e-Participation section reserves the right to amend this e-Participation Policy and Guidelines at any time without any announcement/notice.
12. As a participant or issuing a statement in this e-Participation column, you are bound by the terms and conditions of the e-Participation Guidelines.
